New Freespee Feature Update – Search for User Events

Have you ever had to look for phone call events for a particular destination number but got lost in the long list of user events instead? Have you found yourself rummaging through a long list of user events to locate the online history for a particular caller? Well, things have just become easier – Presenting the ‘Search Inbox’ feature on the Freespee Platform.

How does this feature help?

This feature has been developed by popular demand. By using this feature, all you need to do is enter the destination number or the Caller Id number in the search bar and click on search. If you are searching with a destination number, the search will return a list of all the calls that have been routed to that number along with the user journey and browsing history connected to each call. You can also search for a particular caller using the Caller Id number and this search will return a list of calls originating from that number. Looking up your Freespee user events just got easy!

Where to find this?

Log in to the Freespee platform with your credentials and navigate to the account level. Once inside an account, click on the ‘User Events’ tab and you will find the search bar on the right side, just above the list of user events.

This morning we released a new look and a new structure for our website.

Why?
Over the last 12 months or so, our customers have been telling us, “When we meet you, we finally understand the power of the platform and what value you can bring to us. Previously we had thought you were just another Click-To-Call provider…”
In other words, we hadn’t been communicating very well what we do. The good thing is that we have had a magnificent year nevertheless:
1. The team has doubled in size
2. The number of customers has tripled in size
3. Our monthly recurring revenue has increased by 400%

4. All this in spite of the fact that no-one could tell what we do by visiting our website!
Going into 2011, with a brand new website that should make it much easier to understand WHAT we do and for WHOM, I guess we should be able to outperform 2010!

One. Million. Calls.

Last weekend we reached an awesome milestone – the Freespee voice platform has mediated 1 000 000 calls!

What does this actually mean? It may not be a big number compared to all voice calls made in the world, but consider this:

  • Many of those calls would have not been made without Freespee. Our partners, such as Blocket.se, are building web-based voice apps, which allow consumers to sell products online more efficiently: In the past over 50% of calls were missed. Using Freespee Numbers on ads, the sellers can easily filter out other unknown callers and answer only to the people who want to buy their product.
  • Advertisers can measure calls to Freespee Numbers as easily as clicks. Now you know, where the calls come from and you can optimize your advertising budget accordingly. Login to Freespee Analytics and see when you receive calls, from which sources and how many calls are missed. If you like, you can also integrate your existing CRM, web analytics or ad serving platform using our API to fully automate your call tracking.

That’s it – a voice call is now as simple as an e-mail or a click.
